Data sources and attribution
Every layer surfaced in Treadwell originates with a public authority and is used under the terms of that authority's published licence. Each source remains the authoritative record for the information it publishes. Per-layer attribution is shown alongside each layer in the terminal.
Provincial authorities
Municipal authorities
Each municipal dataset is used under that municipality's own open-data or public-use terms. The name of the publishing municipality is displayed alongside each layer in the terminal. Jurisdictions currently surfaced include, without limitation:
British Columbia: City of Vancouver, City of Victoria, City of Kelowna, City of Kamloops, City of Nanaimo, City of Prince George, City of Cranbrook, City of Revelstoke, City of Squamish, City of Terrace, District of West Vancouver, City of Surrey, City of Burnaby, City of Coquitlam, City of Delta, City of Abbotsford, City of Chilliwack, and participating municipalities publishing through DataBC or their own open-data portals.
